Job Summary
Jefferson Community and Technical College is seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Testing Center Coordinator. This role assists students with a variety of academic, professional, and personal support services to overcome academic and non-academic barriers and enhance their skills to increase retention and graduation rates. The primary duty of this position is to provide testing support to the Testing Center. This position requires flexibility and teamwork. This is a Part Time/ Temp position working 26 hours a week from April 1st to July 1st, 2026.
Job Duties:
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
• Administers all assessments related to college placement.
• Responsible for maintaining operations of the Testing Center including opening & closing procedures.
• Promotes a positive department atmosphere which is student-centered and success oriented.
• Exhibits patience, persistence, and a visible passion for student success.
• Communicates directly with testers and students regarding testing policies, rules, and procedures.
• Provides continuous surveillance monitoring of testing labs with physical presence to ensure the integrity of exams within a safe, secure testing atmosphere.
• Troubleshoots computer, software, and network problems during exams.
• Follows vendor standards for data entry, scheduling, reporting and system records.
• Demonstrates excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma , or equivalent.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and student information systems.
Ability to travel with reliable transportation to and from work sites to proctor exams for the Testing Center.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Outstanding student service skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
• Effective computer/technology skills and experience working with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Microsoft Excel and Word).
