Job Summary

General office and customer service duties in support of the SKYCTC Admissions Department.

This position is on the Main Campus, located at 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
The job pays $14.00 an hour with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Subject to employment expectations such as dependability, punctuality, and confidentiality.

Job Duties:

The Office of Admissions is committed to providing top-quality customer service and support for all areas of the college. Admission Assistants will support daily operations within the areas of processing and recruitment.

Performs various clerical and technical support for the Office of Admissions, including conducting campus tours and coordinating recruitment and admission projects with full-time staff. Additional duties include responding to current and prospective student inquiries, responding to department and campus calls, running departmental errands, greeting visitors, and processing mail. This individual will also help maintain and process departmental records and prepare routine reports, and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
This position will be primarily located in The L – Office of Admissions, but may work special events at other campus locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Declare a program of study
Be enrolled in at least 6 hours for the fall and spring semesters.
Maintain a 2.0 GPA
Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) and Maximum Time Frame
(MTF) requirements each semester
Have a completed FAFSA on file
The Department of Education requires ample room in the student’s financial aid budget to allow for a work study award
Kentucky State Law requires state and national pre-employment background checks as a condition of employment
