Job Summary
Temporary part-time position, for the Southeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (AHEC) to deliver information and educational materials about the key aspects of health insurance to our rural communities. This a grant funded position that will end on 5/31/2026.
Job Duties:
Hired employee will be prepared to deliver information and educational materials about key aspects of health insurance to our rural communities. Some information shall include (but not limited to):
• How to understand the major types and sources of health insurance in Kentucky
• How eligibility for each of these types of healthcare coverage works
• How to understand and anticipate out of pocket costs
• Will be trained to carry out job tasks
• Shall participate in scheduled meetings
• Shall drive to community events and sites within our service region
• Be self-driven and a good communicator
• Shall have basic computer skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree and/or High School Diploma with experience to substitute teach.
