Salary Range: $17.25/hr

Standard Hours: Maximum of 24 hours per week

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the temporary part-time Tutor - Student Support Services is to tutor eligible students in need of remedial work in Math or Math and English.

Job Duties:

• Tutor students in Math or Math and English.
• Assist in maintaining administrative records and statistics for tutor usage.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate degree required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to adjust tutoring methods based on individual student needs.
• Ability to work with students at different learning paces and provide support as needed.
• Ability to encourage students to actively participate and reach their learning goals.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidate will be qualified to tutor in both Math and English.
