Job Summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College's Workforce Solutions department is responsible for providing training for corporate clients throughout our 10-county service area. In addition, we provide open enrollment non-credit classes through our catalogs which we publish three times annually. We are seeking instructors for either or both of these categories. Specifically, we need instructors who can teach during the day, however, we have teaching opportunities during the evening/weekends as well.

Job Duties:

Provide effective instruction to students online and/or in the classroom by preparing for each learning experience, providing supplemental materials to enhance textbooks and lessons, and using effective evaluation methods to measure student performance.

Ensure teaching and working environment (classroom, lab, studio) by maintaining equipment and supplies, ensuring overall cleanliness, functionality, and conformance to OSHA standards.

Maintain accurate records (such as attendance, grades, and documentation) and submit any corresponding reports according to departmental or college guidelines.

Position Requirements

We are interested in a variety of subject matter experts. While formal degrees are preferred, we desire applicants who have had significant job experience in the area in which they would like to teach.

Seeking subject matter experts in the following areas:

· Microsoft applications—Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and others.

· Leadership

· Management (Lean, 6 Sigma, etc.)

· Customer Service

· Safety courses (OSHA)

· Forklift

· Welding

· All areas of Advanced Manufacturing

Minimum Qualifications:

All adjunct positions are contingent upon enrollment needs and funding.

All employees are paid by direct deposit.

Copies of all unofficial degree transcripts, including coursework completed and degree conferred, must be provided during the on-line application process.

Official transcripts are required to be forwarded to the ECTC Personnel Office upon hire.

This is a part-time position with no benefits. Satisfactory reference and criminal background checks are a condition of employment.
