Tuition Waiver

All Colleges within KCTCS offer tuition waivers to employees, spouses and dependent children (age 23 or less, as defined by federal financial aid guidelines) for up to 18 credit hours per year (six hours in the fall, spring, and summer) per person at any KCTCS college.

Community Service Day

KCTCS employees receive 7.5 hours of paid time off to volunteer per Fiscal Year (July 1 – June 30). Spend your day-off volunteering and wearing your College's gear making our community a better place!

Institutional Close

All Colleges within KCTCS observe a two-week institutional closing beginning in December, which will include the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Reporting to the Vice Chancellor of Advancement, this position provides strategic leadership for the ECTC Foundation while advancing a culture of philanthropy across the College. The Director develops meaningful relationships with donors, alumni, corporations, foundations, faculty, staff, volunteers, and community leaders to inspire philanthropic investment that supports student success and strengthens the communities ECTC serves. The Director serves as the Executive Director of the ECTC Foundation, providing leadership for Foundation operations, governance, and Board engagement while managing a portfolio of philanthropic relationships that result in major, annual, planned, endowed, and unrestricted gifts. The successful candidate is an exceptional relationship builder, communicator, and strategic thinker who is passionate about connecting donor interests with institutional priorities and measurable community impact.

Admissions Counselor I

ECTC is seeking an Admissions Counselor I for the TRIO Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) program at ECTC. The UBMS program seeks to assist first generation low-income high school students in preparing for college and careers in STEM. Serving students from the following high schools: North Hardin, Nelson Co., Thomas-Nelson, LaRue Co., and Washington Co. The Admissions Counselor I will provide student services to participants and assist the UBMS Program Director with meeting the grant objectives. The Admissions Counselor I will report to the UBMS Program Director. This is a five (5) year grant program eligible for renewal in 2027.
