Tuition Waiver

All Colleges within KCTCS offer tuition waivers to employees, spouses and dependent children (age 23 or less, as defined by federal financial aid guidelines) for up to 18 credit hours per year (six hours in the fall, spring, and summer) per person at any KCTCS college.

Community Service Day

KCTCS employees receive 7.5 hours of paid time off to volunteer per Fiscal Year (July 1 – June 30). Spend your day-off volunteering and wearing your College's gear making our community a better place!

Institutional Close

All Colleges within KCTCS observe a two-week institutional closing beginning in December, which will include the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Tuition Discounts

KCTCS currently has tuition discount agreements with Morehead State University, Western Kentucky University, and Northern Kentucky University.

Generous Retirement Match

As part of KCTCS, each college offers a 403(b) retirement plan. A 5% employee contribution receives a 10% employer match

Financial Aid Advisor III

ECTC is seeking a highly motivated hands-on individual to provide outreach and overall management of all functions related to scholarship programs, including the preparation of application materials, coordination of selection committees, determination of student eligibility for awards, and account management for all scholarship programs. This position will report to the Director of Financial Aid and assist with scholarship marketing and outreach efforts to new and current students.

Financial Specialist II

Elizabethtown

ECTC is seeking a Financial Specialist II to serve as the Office Receptionist and Head Cashier. This position assists incoming front office customers, collects and applies tuition payments, and serves as the front line of Customer Service to the Business Office; including face-to-face, phone, emails, and help desk customer service. Keeps accurate records for all ECTC contracts and assists in the ECTC billing, collections, and purge processes.

Nursing Instructor

Elizabethtown

ECTC is seeking a Nursing Instructor for our Associate Degree Nursing Program. The nursing instructor will be responsible for both didactic, clinical, and simulation instruction. Clinical sites may include long-term care, acute care, and rehabilitation centers. Applicants will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for advising, institutional service, external service, professional development, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, the willingness to work with a diverse population, and be dedicated to the mission of Elizabethtown Community & Technical College. 10-month, promotion track faculty position (Aug-May)
