Job Summary
Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Program Coordinator at the Springfield Campus for the Advanced Manufacturing Accelerator Project (AMAP), at ECTC. AMAP will focus on changing perceptions of advanced manufacturing, implementing interactive recruitment activities, and engaging middle and high school partners to increase enrollment and credentials. This position is funded by a Department of Education grant through September 2027.
Job Duties:
• Develop relationships in rural areas school systems, economic development offices, and industries in Marion, Washington, and Nelson counties.
• Lead advisory committees with representatives from ECTC, school districts, employers, community leaders, and economic development representatives from Marion, Washington, and Nelson counties.
• Conduct workshops, develop and organize internships at industries for students, develop and organize externships at industries for faculty/staff, and work with students and administrators on pathways and dual credit courses.
• Promote and recruit rural students and adult learners in assigned rural counties into postsecondary enrollment.
• Plan and host information sessions, workshops, online platforms, community events, and other relevant venues.
• Work with the AMAP Team/Staff to meet the goals, objectives, and outcomes of the grant.
• Assist the grant project director in reporting on grant activities and data collection.
• Support regional programming efforts by collaborating with other grant staff and coordinators. Regional travel to various ECTC campuses and school districts will be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (related field), and one year of related experience, or equivalent. Education or experience in guidance counseling, social work, technical education, or related field preferred.
A driver’s license is required to lead outreach events in the community. Due to the nature of working with community partners, participation at evening/weekend events may be required.
