Job Summary
The Purchasing & Business Services Specialist will manage purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Travel processes for all campuses, ensuring policy compliance and cost-effective materials. ProCard administrator, leads year-end business processes, provides analytical and professional support for budgeting and financial management functions, liaison between college and KCTCS for leases, MOA's, insurance.
Job Duties:
Coordinates all purchasing activities for all college campus locations, ensuring policy compliance and cost-effective materials.
Provides expert guidance and training surrounding purchasing guidelines and procedures.
Manage Accounts Payable activities for the college with the supervision of auditing expense reimbursement requests for employee travel and check requests processing.
Procard Administrator, leads processes for procard application and training.
Audits and reconciles procards.
Ensures all procard policies have been followed.
Liaison between college and KCTCS Budget, Procurement to Pay, General Counsel, Year-end activities, Sponsored Projects Accounting, Facilities Management (leases, insurance).
Provide assistance through research and analysis of college budgets and expenditures.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4-6 years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred.
Experience working at the community college level is preferred.
