Job Summary

Somerset Community College is accepting applications for an Academic Program Coordinator for the Raise program. This position is grant funded through the Title III: Strengthening Institutions program.

Job Duties:

Direct day-to-day activities of the College Navigation (CN) program.

Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate College Navigators.

Track efficiency and success of College Readiness Assessment, Comprehensive Student Support/Integration with College Support Network, Financial Literacy Training, Community Services Partnership Networking, Student Campus Engagement, and manage Laptop Loan Program.

Conduct surveys and assessments to measure the CN program’s effectiveness.

Assist Project Director and other project staff in the implementation and execution of all innovative programming targeting faculty and students.

Hire, train, evaluate, etc. part-time peer mentor staff.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years’ experience in social services or
student programs or Associates degree and four years’ experience in social services or equivalent. 
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree a minimum of two years’ experience in social services or student programs.
