Job Summary
Provide general clerical support for the unit, serve as receptionist greeting visitors and answering the phone, track expenditures from the Perkins Grant and serve as an online student liaison responding to online student questions and concerns. Initial review begins on January 6, 2025.
Job Duties:
Performs general support duties such as preparing correspondence, purchasing requisitions, travel completions, memorandums, reports, filing, budget tracking, etc. Serves as receptionist greeting visitors, answering phone, distributing mail, maintaining calendars, scheduling of activities and events. Assist with data entry related to academic services: registration, advisor assignments, program review completion, degree check sheets/graduation plans, etc. Assists with confidential materials related to academic services/programs/divisions. Assists with HCTC retention, recruitment, and other college events. Downloads, saves, and disseminates course evaluations of instruction. Manages Perkins budget, advisory meetings, and regional collaboration of partners. Enters and maintains class schedule information for assigned programs. Uses campus technology and productivity tools (Starfish, PeopleSoft, DSS, Compliance Assist/Anthology, Radius, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.). Serves as an online student liaison by being a first point of contact and throughout the semester to provide resources or direction to resources. Assists faculty/unit with technology, assessment completion, and finalizing reports. Provides campus, unit, and program support. Maintains up-to-date skills to provide support.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate degree (Business Administration or related field) and 2 years related experience, or equivalent.
