Job Summary
ECTC is seeking an Administrative Assistant II to support the Military & Veteran/Service to Scholars Center (SSC) and provide excellent customer service for military-connected students and their families.
Job Duties:
• Serve as the first point of contact for the Military and Veteran Services Center, providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
• Answer inquiries from military-connected students, faculty, and staff regarding available resources and services, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of student records, including those related to military education benefits and VA documentation.
• Support the center with administrative tasks, including managing correspondence, maintaining organized filing systems, and preparing reports.
• Coordinate events and outreach efforts, such as workshops and engagement activities, to support military-connected students and their families.
• Supports a professional office environment of efficiency and customer service and provides clerical support for SSC project staff including requisitions, supply requests, and travel documents.
• Performs data entry for the SSC project database ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entries about the goals, objectives, and activities of the project; creating student files, regularly updating database and student files, assisting in the preparation of reports, maintaining consistent accurate and updated project documents.
• Prepare grant reports, monthly and annual performance reports, and monthly budget reconciliations.
• Responsible for maintaining, updating, and creating content for all social media accounts and websites.
• Creates and maintains an accurate and comprehensive file system that protects the privacy of program participants and their files to ensure FERPA compliance with the College and the U.S. Department of Education.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate Degree and 2 years experience or high school diploma and 4 years experience.
