Job Summary

The Marketing Communication Specialist III position has oversight of the 24/7 Go KCTCS! Student Service Center, knowledgebase, and any other System Office Student Affairs led outbound student contact campaigns. Provide training and support to college staff who support the function of the Go KCTCS! Student Service Center. Stay abreast of the implementation of Al into existing services and ensure that KCTCS standards are being met, and that the student experience is of the highest level. Collaborate closely with enrollment management team members within the system office, marketing, and across KCTCS to assist with the development and assessment of student communications for varying student populations throughout the student lifecycle.

This is a defined-term contract position renewable each fiscal year and located in Versailles, KY.

Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.

Job Duties:

Management of 24/7 student service center and any other System Office Student Affairs 3rd party outbound campaigns. Primary system office point of contact for review of student interactions, college support and training for college leads who support vendor escalations of student interactions. Monitor the resolution time of vendor and college staff and send reminders as needed to ensure that student questions are responded to quickly.

Provide oversight for the KCTCS knowledgebase ensuring that accurate that is made available is kept up-to-date and easy to understand. Provide quality review of student interactions that leverage knowledgebase either from a direct interaction, human or artificial intelligence supported interactions.

Support the integration of the Student Information System and the student service center by acting as liaison between technology solutions and vendor Information Technology team. Assist in the implementation of required fields and other system maintenance operations. Ensure that ticket escalation process from vendor to college leads is working properly and facilitate any changes to existing technology stack.

Prepare monthly reporting for leadership and college leads on the services being provided, schedule college staff with needed reviews at the start of the semester. Archive and catalog needed updates to knowledgebase and assist in analysis of ROI and enrollment metrics for executive review.

Review and analyze outbound and inbound messaging across KCTCS platforms to identify gaps in student knowledge of important information/processes. Propose communication strategies to be instituted at the local and/or system level to address knowledge gaps in the student body about available services and required steps for enrollment.

Support enrollment management efforts by engaging with college staff members to support the promotion of services that are available to students.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's Degree in Communication, Business, Marketing, Education or Liberal Arts and two (2) years of relevant experience or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Business, Marketing, Education or Liberal Arts and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
