Salary Range: $$2,158 per month

Contract Term Length: 12 Months

Standard Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Facilities Worker II is to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in assigned areas.

Job Duties:

• Utilize basic equipment and supplies to clean assigned facility areas and remove waste and recyclables. Assigned facility areas will include offices, classrooms, common areas, and restrooms.
• Monitor and secure facility interior and exterior entrances as assigned, and report issues to supervisor.
• Maintain organization of supply areas and equipment, monitor inventory, and request additional supplies as needed.
• Report repairs, violations, and pest control needs to supervisor.
• Provide groundskeeping services, including weeding out flower beds, planting and watering plants, and trimming. Maintain clean walkways to ensure they are free of debris, litter, snow, and ice.
• Light bulb replacement, minor repairs, and other general maintenance duties.
• Assist with general event set-up and tear down on campus.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED and one year related work experience, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of general cleaning and safety.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Cleaning surfaces that may include heights.
• Walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching; the ability to lift 50 pounds.
