Job Summary
The Curriculum Developer will lead the design and conversion of non-credit workforce training programs into credit-bearing, Pell-eligible credentials aligned with employer-driven competencies. This role is central to implementing stackable, interoperable credentials and competency-based learning pathways that meet high-demand workforce needs in healthcare, emergency medical services, and commercial driving.
This is a grant funded position
Job Duties:
- Curriculum Design & Conversion: Analyze existing non-credit courses and convert them into credit-bearing formats within a 15-week structure. Ensure compliance with academic standards, accreditation requirements, and Pell eligibility guidelines.
- Competency Mapping & Interoperability: Deconstruct courses into discrete, machine-readable competency statements aligned with industry standards. Collaborate with the talent marketplace team to integrate competencies into an electronic system for employer visibility.
- Program Development: Develop stackable credential pathways combining short-term certifications (e.g., Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy, CPR) into comprehensive programs. Create curriculum frameworks that support progressive skill-building and career mobility.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with faculty, industry partners, and workforce development teams to ensure curriculum relevance and alignment with labor market needs. Provide technical assistance and training to instructors on competency-based education and interoperability systems.
- Quality Assurance & Reporting: Monitor curriculum effectiveness through analytics on skill gaps, credential attainment, and employment outcomes. Prepare reports for grant compliance and continuous improvement.
- Assist program director with the management, execution, and reporting of the grant as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or related field, and four years of related experience.
