Job Summary
Big Sandy Community and Technical College is seeking Maintenance Lead to work second shift at our Pikeville campus. This person will be in the lead capacity but not a direct supervisor. They will be able to assign / monitor work to ensure satisfaction of duties.
Job Duties:
Monitor heating and air conditioning and could change setting on controls to adjust temperature in facilities.
Performs daily cleaning of classrooms/bathrooms, hallways, and offices such as; dusting, taking out trash, cleaning windows, vacuuming, and keeping the soap and paper towel dispensers full.
Performs floor maintenance such as; shampooing carpet, sweeping, moping, stripping floors, waxing, and buffing.
Performs dry walling, painting, installing ceiling tiles, minor plumbing, minor electrical work assemble and deliver furniture, and setup rooms for special events.
Maintains grounds by mowing, weed-eating, picking up trash, and snow removal.
Other duties as required
May have to travel to assist at other campuses as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and two years related work experienced
