Salary Range: $3,142 - $4,354 per month

Contract Term Length: 12 Months

Job Summary

This is a grant-funded full-time staff position with a one-year appointment renewable for an additional one year for a total of a potential 2 years to assist with implementing the terms and conditions set forth in the CCAMPIS Grant. The grant focuses on students obtaining childcare while in college. This position requires flexibility of scheduling which may include evenings, weekends, and a variety of campus locations. The Family Care Navigator will be involved in working directly with students, the advisory board, the Evaluation Research Team, and the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.

Job Duties:

The Family Care Navigator will implement and manage the daily operation of the program, including recruiting, retaining, purchasing, budgeting, and supporting student parents by identifying and then organizing contractual arrangements with regional childcare providers in line with KCTCS policies and procedures, and coordinating additional support services as needed for student success.

Minimum Qualifications:

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field with Early Childhood Education coursework

A minimum of three years of experience providing exemplary care to young

children in a certified childcare center or similar experience and training.

A minimum of two years of supervisory or project management experience   

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a related field with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field with Early Childhood Education coursework
