Job Summary

Manages and administers financial aid programs for students and ensures compliance with institution and funding agency requirements.

Job Duties:

• Provide guidance and support regarding available financial aid opportunities, including eligibility requirements and the application process.
• Package and award funds to student accounts.
• Facilitate workshops and training seminars to educate students, parents, faculty, staff, and community partners on financial aid and FAFSA completion. Assist in facilitating New Student Orientation.
• Coordinate the Federal Work Study Program, ensuring effective administration and compliance.
• Coordinate Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship to ensure compliance with KHEAA. Work as a liaison for Workforce with approved Work Ready Certificates.
• Modify financial aid for no-shows and online withdrawals; inform students of any financial implications.
• Coordinate all aspects of Financial Aid for the Prison Education Program. Occasional visits to the Correctional Facility to assist in completing FAFSAs.
• Other duties assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience. Two to four years of relevant experience.
