Job Summary

Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications to apply for part-time/temporary faculty as a History Instructor in the Heritage, Humanities, and Fine Arts Department reporting to the Department Head. Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes. This teaching position is in-person.

Job Duties:

•Provide in-person learner-centered instruction in the discipline.
•Provide instruction to students in both theory and practice.
•Maintenance and care of classroom and training materials.
•Keep abreast of changes in the respective field and help keep the program updated.

Minimum Qualifications:

•Master’s degree in History or Master’s degree with 18-graduate hours in History.

Preferred Qualifications:

•Previous experience teaching online, in-person, or hybrid courses is preferred
•Experience in and understanding of working with students from diverse populations is preferred
