Job Summary

  • Madisonville Community College is in need of part-time instructors to teach the following, face-to-face or online at $550 per credit hour:
  • Communications
  • English
  • History
  • Music
  • Reading/Sociology
  • Sociology/History

Job Duties:

  • Teaching assignment includes both respiratory lecture and clinical courses and may include face-to-face day and evening, hybrid, accelerated, and online delivery modalities.
  • Foster an active and inclusive learning environment and utilizing our learning management system (Blackboard) for communication and feedback.
  • Professional development.
  • Must possess a strong commitment to student learning and will be receptive to using active and engaged teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
  • Demonstrate an interest in the mission of the comprehensive community college concept.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in teaching discipline or Master’s degree in a related field with 18 credit hours in the discipline.
  • Community college teaching experience is preferred.
  • Must possess professionalism and exemplary communication and presentation skills.
