Are you a skilled radiography professional with a passion for teaching and mentoring? We’re looking for a Radiography Instructor to educate and inspire students in both imaging theory and clinical practice. POSITION BEGINS: July 16, 2026
Job Duties:
• Provides instruction to students in both theory and practice of Radiography Technology. Plans and carries out instruction, instructional activities, and prepares learning materials for special studies. Prepares lesson plans, instructional activities, and maintains records and reports on student learning.
• Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching skills and expertise, student advising, follow-up services to assist in student placement, and recruitment of new students for program area. Serves on college committees as required, keeps regular posted office hours, and undertakes other assignments as directed by supervisor.
• May be required to teach evening hours, or at other campus locations as the need arises.
• Serves as Clinical Coordinator for the Radiography program responsible for clinical placements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years’ work-related experience in Radiography. Must hold current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (AART) certification and registration in radiography. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Must hold a current Kentucky Radiation license issued by the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT). Must possess excellent organizational, customer service, and public speaking skills as well as be current with technology and computer skills.
