Job Summary
The position of Recruitment Specialist/Lead Success Coach will oversee and coordinate the overall recruitment of participants/trainees to include displaced workers, unemployed, underemployed, and post-recovery entrants, and their families. This position will also serve as the success coach for participants in the healthcare workforce career pathway. This position will travel throughout the four-county service region to recruit participants for training cohorts and increase program awareness. This is a 12-month defined term contract position. It is grant funded for three years.
Job Duties:
Implements a strategic recruitment process with guidance from the Essential Skills HUB
Director, Dean of Workforce Solutions, and advisory board members.
Conducts site visits and presentations with various community partners and organizations
such as local high schools, recovery centers, behavioral health centers, community action
agencies, health departments, and drug courts. Attend community meetings such as local
Chambers of Commerce.
Distribution of printed materials, social media posts, flyers, radio ads, public service
announcements, geo fencing, and referrals for promotional efforts.
Serves as success coach for participants in the healthcare sector career pathway and
completes each assigned participant’s Individual Career Action Plan. Provides monitoring
and academic support to each assigned participant.
Schedules HUB tours, attends HUB Advisory Board Meetings, and Workforce Solutions
Meetings
Provides collaboration efforts with Adult Education, and Community Partnerships
Assists in the interview and intake process of trainees.
Collects testimonials of participants, recruit speakers for the panel discussion for the
annual substance use disorder summit.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree (related field), and two years related experience, or equivalent.

Additional Skills Requested:
Competent skills in communication (oral and written) and in presentation and facilitation.
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office 365) and digital literacy skills.
