Perks YOU gain working within KCTCS!

Tuition Waiver

All Colleges within KCTCS offer tuition waivers to employees, spouses and dependent children (age 23 or less, as defined by federal financial aid guidelines) for up to 18 credit hours per year (six hours in the fall, spring, and summer) per person at any KCTCS college.

Community Service Day

KCTCS employees receive 7.5 hours of paid time off to volunteer per Fiscal Year (July 1 – June 30). Spend your day-off volunteering and wearing your College's gear making our community a better place!

Institutional Close

All Colleges within KCTCS observe a two-week institutional closing beginning in December, which will include the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Tuition Discounts

KCTCS currently has tuition discount agreements with Morehead State University, Western Kentucky University, and Northern Kentucky University.

Generous Retirement Match

As part of KCTCS, each college offers a 403(b) retirement plan. A 5% employee contribution receives a 10% employer match

Director of Custodial Services (Mgr III Facilities Mgmt/Operations)	Lexington	Director of Custodial Services provides supervision and direction for all areas of the custodial services department of the College to ensure proper cleaning of facilities, grounds and maintenance and repair of all equipment including management, planning, budget, and resource allocation for multiple Lexington campuses.
Dual Credit Advisor- Student Support Specialist III	Lexington	The Dual Credit Advisor serves as a liaison between the college and secondary schools for articulated credit, dual credit, and dual enrollment programs. Working collaboratively with high school administrators, principals, guidance counselors, and dual credit instructors, the Advisor supports the recruitment, application, advising, registration, and matriculation of dual credit students.

Senior Financial Aid Specialist for Scholarships (Financial Aid Advisor IV)	Lexington	BCTC seeks a Senior Financial Aid Specialist for Scholarships to oversee college-wide scholarship programs implementing procedures for monitoring compliance with donors, grant, state and institutional guidelines to produce quality service for students.
Ready to Work Coordinator (Student Support Specialist II)	Lexington	The Coordinator of the Ready to Work (RTW) program will be responsible for providing services to support the education and training for Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP) recipients who are engaged in an educational activity with KCTCS or Adult Education which will lead to employment and self-sufficiency.
