Perks YOU gain working within KCTCS!

Tuition Waiver

All Colleges within KCTCS offer tuition waivers to employees, spouses and dependent children (age 23 or less, as defined by federal financial aid guidelines) for up to 18 credit hours per year (six hours in the fall, spring, and summer) per person at any KCTCS college.

Community Service Day

KCTCS employees receive 7.5 hours of paid time off to volunteer per Fiscal Year (July 1 – June 30). Spend your day-off volunteering and wearing your College's gear making our community a better place!

Institutional Close

All Colleges within KCTCS observe a two-week institutional closing beginning in December, which will include the day before Christmas Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

Tuition Discounts

KCTCS currently has tuition discount agreements with Morehead State University, Western Kentucky University, and Northern Kentucky University.

Generous Retirement Match

As part of KCTCS, each college offers a 403(b) retirement plan. A 5% employee contribution receives a 10% employer match

Talent Search Educational Advisor (Student Support Specialist III)	Lexington	Identifies  and select participants, assess students’ needs, and provide personal, academic and career services to participants. This position will also present and plan curriculum for 6-12 grades. The Educational Advisor reports to the Project Director.  This is a Grant Funded Position
Ready to Work Coordinator (Student Support Specialist II)	Lexington	The Coordinator of the Ready to Work (RTW) program will be responsible for providing services to support the education and training for Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP) recipients who are engaged in an educational activity with KCTCS or Adult Education which will lead to employment and self-sufficiency.
Business Administration Instructor	Lexington	Full-time, ten-month faculty appointment in the Business Administration Program within the Business, Computers, and Information Systems Division.
Instructor- Biology (Anatomy and Physiology)	Lexington	A tenure track position in anatomy and physiology, lectures and laboratories to students, advises students, maintains office hours, provides internal service to the college as assigned, provides external service as a representative of the college, pursues professional development, and provides leadership where appropriate
Project Coordinator (Sales/Service Specialist II)	Lexington	The Project Coordinator supports the overall function of the Workforce Solutions office, including supporting the work of the Project Managers.
Facilities Worker II (Custodial Worker)	Lexington	The custodial worker performs general cleaning of campus facilities for the college.
