Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant assists with office management, scheduling appointments, coordinating schedules for up to 20 staff members, ordering office supplies, maintaining budget records, proctoring assessments tests, and providing exceptional customer services for students, parents, faculty, and staff.
Job Duties:
- Schedule, administer, and evaluate placement tests for students.
- Monitor office inventory and process and maintain financial records for budget transactions.
- Complete budget transactions and budget management for the Advising Services Unit.
- Answer main phone line for Advising Services.
- Assist with and serve as point of contact for appointment scheduling software system for the Advising Services Unit.
- Assist with special planning for events offered by staff in Advising Services Unit.
- Monitor and respond to pre-advising intake forms submitted by students.
- Collect and compile data for reports.
- Assist with confidential materials related to the department.
- Assist records and dual credit with transcript processing.
- Serve as point of contact for advising office, providing excellent customer service.
- Monitor student check-in.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum a high school diploma or equivalent and one-year related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (related field) and one year of related experience, or equivalent.
