West Kentucky Community & Technical College is seeking a dedicated Admissions Counselor II to help students navigate their educational journey. Located in Paducah, KY, you'll be part of the Kentucky Community & Technical College System, serving our community with passion and purpose.

About the Opportunity:

As an Admissions Counselor II, you'll guide prospective students through the enrollment process, helping them discover programs that align with their career goals. You'll work with traditional and non-traditional students, providing personalized support and removing barriers to higher education access.

Job Duties:

• Conduct individual and group advising sessions with prospective students
• Coordinate recruitment activities at high schools and community events
• Process applications and maintain accurate student records
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success
• Provide information about financial aid options and scholarship opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Experience in student services, admissions, or related field preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with student information systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
• Driver's license  

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training or certification in:

• Recruitment strategies
• Customer service
• Student success/retention approaches
• Data analytics or CRM usage
