Owensboro Community and Technical College is hiring a Adjunct Communication Instructor in the Heritage, Humanities, and Fine Arts Department. Primary teaching assignments will include a variety of courses, such as Basic Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, Intercultural Communication, and specialized interest areas. This position reports directly to the Heritage, Humanities, and Fine Arts Department Head.
Job Duties:
• Teach undergraduate courses within the Communication discipline including Basic Public Speaking and Interpersonal Communication • Respond to student communication in a timely manner • Navigate online platforms and learning management systems
Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and online courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, working with a diverse population, and the community and technical college mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree with 18 graduate hours of coursework in Communications
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior teaching experience.
