Job Summary

Owensboro Community and Technical College invites applications for part-time/temporary faculty to teach Computer and Information Technologies within the Manufacturing & Skilled Trades Department. Please note that this is an adjunct pool. We will only contact applicants as needed for classes.

Job Duties:

• Provide in-person or online learner-centered instruction in the discipline.
• Provide instruction to students in both theory and practice.
• Maintain classrooms and training materials.
• Stay informed of developments within the respective field and keep the program up to date.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in the Computer Information Technology field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• College teaching experience is preferred.
• Previous experience teaching online, in-person, or hybrid courses is preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with individuals at all levels of the college and with external business and community partners, while consistently demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Mathematics Instructor
