Job Summary
This is an adjunct position for the Business and Technology Division within the Computer & Information Technologies program at Jefferson Community and Technical College (JCTC). The position requires flexibility of scheduling which will include both on-campus and online classes and is intended to teach a variety of CIT subjects such as networking, programming, and business software support.
Job Duties:
The CIT adjunct will be responsible for preparing course materials such as the course syllabi, homework assignments, and examinations.
• Use Blackboard Ultra for communication and feedback.
• Prepare and deliver learning activities to achieve course outcomes.
• Evaluate and grade students’ class work, papers, and examinations with feedback as needed.
• Maintain and submit students’ attendance records, grades, and other requested documentation by specified deadlines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related or an Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related and demonstrated competency in the discipline, such as certifications, work experience, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relevant professional experience is preferred. Experience in computer programming, networking, or Security is a plus.
