Job Summary

The Data Specialist manages data collection, tracking, and reporting for the Generating Energy Optimization (GEO) Project. This position ensures that all data is accurate, up to date, and meets grant reporting requirements. The Data Specialist works closely with project staff and the external evaluator to support program evaluation and continuous improvement.

This is a grant funded position which ends 04/30/2028.

Job Duties:

• Develop and manage systems for collecting and tracking project data.
• Track and analyze data related to student enrollment, progress, completion, and work-based learning.
• Work with the external evaluator to support required evaluation activities.
• Monitor key performance measures and help assess program success.
• Prepare and submit required quarterly and annual reports.
• Collaborate with project staff to ensure accurate and consistent data reporting.
• Identify trends and suggest improvements based on data findings.
• Maintain data confidentiality and follow all required regulations and policies

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree with 3 to 4 years of experience in data management.

Associate's degree with 3 to 4 years of experience in data management.

Additional Skills Requested:

• Experience in database creation, management, and data system administration.
• Strong understanding of performance measurement tools, outcome metrics, and evaluation design specific to federal grants.
• Demonstrated background in project management or program effectiveness analysis.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into accessible reports and presentations.
