Salary Range: $2,158- $2,590 per month

Contract Term Length: 12 Months

Job Summary

The custodial worker performs general cleaning of campus facilities for the college. Working collaboratively with the facilities management team leader, this position works to provide clean and sanitary facilities for students, faculty, staff, and the general public on a daily basis.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices, and meeting rooms.
  • Responsible for vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
  • Responsible for dusting furniture.
  • Responsible for cleaning windows.
  • Disposes of trash in a safe manner according to state and federal regulations.
  • Responsible for buffing floors.
  • Responsible for stripping and waxing of floors.
  • Performs assignments for the facilities management team leader and director of maintenance and operations as specified.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school/GED and one year related experience, or equivalent 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must be physically able to lift heavy items, i.e. office furniture, equipment, etc.
