Job Summary

Owensboro Community and Technical College (OCTC) has anticipated job openings for Adjunct Faculty and Clinical Instructor positions within the Nursing Program. These are temporary, part-time positions used to fill classroom vacancies as needed: days, evenings, weekends, and/or online. Please know this is an applicant pool. Job Duties:

Adjunct Faculty
Essential duties and responsibilities:

Act as primary instructor of record.

Clinical Instructor
Essential duties and responsibilities:

Provide in-person learner-centered instruction in the discipline.
Provide instruction to students in both theory and practice.
Remain abreast of changes in nursing / healthcare to ensure evidence-based practice.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree - required.
Two (2) years Registered Nurse experience within the past five (5) years- required.
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or a compact state with multi-state privileges - required.
 

Preferred Qualifications:

Master of Science in Nursing degree with graduate hours related to nursing education - preferred.
Experience using Blackboard (or similar learning management system as a delivery method for classes) – preferred (specific to Adjunct Faculty).
