Job Summary
ECTC is seeking a Nursing Instructor for our Associate Degree Nursing Program.
The nursing instructor will be responsible for both didactic, clinical, and simulation instruction. Clinical sites may include long-term care, acute care, and rehabilitation centers.
10-month, promotion track faculty position (Aug-May)
Job Duties:
Applicants will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for advising, institutional service, external service, professional development, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, the willingness to work with a diverse population and be dedicated to the mission of Elizabethtown Community & Technical College.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Master’s Degree in Nursing and/or Nursing Education or Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with completion of a Master’s Degree in Nursing within 5 years of hire.
Certification or Professional License: Must hold a current unencumbered license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
• Ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively on a team
