Salary Range: $ 48,168.00

Contract Term Length: 12 Months

Standard Hours: 37.5 per week

Job Summary

Hazard Community and Technical College invites applications for the position of Grant Writer.   The position of Grant Writer will provide overall grant procurement and management.

Job Duties:

Duties to include, but not limited to:
• Compiles research for initiatives that are appropriate for external private funding.
• Researches external private funding possibilities for strategic priorities of the college/district.
• Prepares grant applications, proposals and contracts as directed by the Dean of IEPR or President.
• Collaborate with staff in private foundation grant or contract writing.
• Assists faculty and staff in understanding the policies and procedures governing expenditures from these accounts.
• Provides contract negotiation, administration, and management for Fund 12
• Directs the review of Fund 12 expenditures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (related field) and four years of related work experience, or equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

GPC Certification preferred.
