Job Summary

Owensboro Community and Technical College’s Workforce Solutions team is seeking a part-time/temporary Support Specialist for FlexTrain to assist in delivering innovative computer-based training programs serving clients across Kentucky and throughout the United States. This position plays a vital role in providing outstanding customer service and technical support to business, industry, and educational partners. Schedule is flexible, Mon. – Fri. (some remote work may be possible).

Job Duties:

• Provide Help Desk support to learners and clients using OCTC’s FlexTrain platform.
• Assist with Learning Management System setup, course enrollment, and troubleshooting.
• Track and collect training data, including enrollment, completion, and satisfaction metrics.
• Generate regular reports and summaries to support program evaluation and decision-making.
• Coordinate with FlexTrain team members and instructors to ensure smooth program delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree (Information Technologies, Computer Science, Business Administration) and two (2) years of relevant work experience or the equivalent. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Information Technologies, Computer Science, Business Administration) and four (4) years is preferred.

Additional Skills Requested:

• Strong technical and customer service skills.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
