Job Summary: This position will lead, oversee, and manage the operations for HealthForce Kentucky to include the simulation center. HealthForce Kentucky is an innovative, public private partnership with the goal to increase the healthcare workforce through increased outreach from secondary to post-secondary and increase the postsecondary educational/training capacity. This is a grant funded role (fully funded, 1/2025 – 12/2026). Continuation of grant funding is contingent upon future funding.
Job Duties:
• Lead and administer all operational activities of HealthForce Kentucky and the simulation center. • Develop and implement a strategic plan and vision for HealthForce Kentucky. • Hire and supervise all employees of HealthForce Kentucky. • Develop and manage the budget for HealthForce Kentucky. • Serve as a liaison with the HealthForce Kentucky Board of Directors. • Work with educational and community partners on resource development and outreach. • Travel is required
Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree required in nursing, public health, and/or related healthcare degree. • Eight (8) years of relevant work experience in the field is required. • Five (5) years of Director or above work experience is required. • Four (4) years of leadership experience across organization or divisions is required. • Current and unrestricted direct patient healthcare license(s) such as nursing is required. • Certification(s) in Healthcare Simulation required.
