Contract Term Length: 12 Months

Job Summary

Advises and supports the operations of secondary site dual credit opportunities and works directly with secondary partners and students to ensure a coordinated, high-quality student experience.

Job Duties:

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to support student enrollment at the High School or secondary sites. Is the liaison to all parts of the process, from initial information, setting up courses, and working with schools/students to ultimately enroll. This includes working with the Academic Affairs department to get HS faculty credentialed and current.
  • Manages the courses offered off-site and provides reporting and updates to internal and external partners. Working with the Director of Early College Opportunities (ECO) and Deans to create needed courses.
    Responsible for updating academic program information for all courses and sharing the information with the partners.
  • Responsible for providing general admission, advising, and registration services to students and prospective students enrolled in classes off-site. This includes maintaining accurate student records by assisting students in completing all necessary paperwork for enrolling in ECO.
  • Assist students/schools with understanding where to access the additional admission services (EdReady, etc.) when needed. Will also carry a load of traditional dual credit students as needed.
  • Assists high school seniors who are ECO students and community members with understanding the Gateway College admission process and provides information on other student support services that may be needed, such as Financial Aid, FAFSA workshops, Admissions, and transcript requests.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to guide individuals through multi-step processes, offering clear support and direction from initial engagement through completion.
  • Skilled in adjusting communication styles and support strategies to meet the unique needs of diverse individuals and groups.
  • Capable of producing and sharing reports that summarize activities, progress, or outcomes with internal teams and external collaborators.
  • Experience acting as a point of contact between organizations, facilitating smooth coordination and information flow.
  • Strong ability to convey updates, procedural changes, and key information in a clear, professional manner.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, ability to work independently and adapt seamlessly to fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Skilled in engaging and supporting students from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Forms, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word). 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in secondary education or dual credit partnerships would be preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience guiding students through college processes like FAFSA, transcript requests, and accessing support services.
  • Hands-on experience providing admissions, advising, and registration services.
  • Knowledge of systems used for student records and enrollment (e.g., EdReady or similar platforms).
  • Understanding of college admissions, advising, and registration processes.
  • Experience managing academic courses, including scheduling, setup, and faculty credentialing.
  • Experience working at the community college level.
