Job Summary
The human resources coordinator plays a key role in the operation of the college’s human resources department. This position will manage PageUp, the college's applicant tracking system. This position will aid employees with HR related questions and requests, coordinate hiring for full-time employees, assist newly hired faculty/staff with payroll and benefit processes, maintain personnel files, etc. The human resources coordinator works closely with the Human Resources Business Partner and Associate VP for Human Resources and Organizational Development to ensure HR functions are accomplished efficiently.
Job Duties:
Responsible for coordinating the full employee recruiting process (onboarding, acquiring essential hiring documents, maintaining candidate databases, attending job fairs, etc.)
Works with all college department leads and hiring supervisors to recruit employees.
Maintains employee development and position files.
Monitors compliance tracking to ensure timely completion of mandatory training assignments by new hires and scheduled annual trainings. Notifies employees and supervisors of non-completion.
Plans and executes all Human Resources events such as End of Year Recognition Program, the New Employee Experience, and other related events.
Serves as back-up and provides additional support for HR Coordinators as needed.
Provides customer service for walk-in visitors and employees.
Completes employment verifications as requested.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (related field) and two years related experience, or equivalent.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated
Attention to detail and organized
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.)
A high level of integrity with attention and care given to confidentiality.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with teams.
Knowledge of and experience using Talent Acquisition Software (PageUp preferred) and capable of sourcing/posting positions.
