College Work-study - under the Federal Work-study (FWS) Program, students can earn money for their education by working part-time while enrolled in school either full or part-time. Federal Work-study funds are limited. Employment and/or positions are not guaranteed for all those who qualify or who apply.
Ready to Work - RTW is designed to assist parents participating in the Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program (KTAP) to enroll and be successful students. The Ready to Work Program provides a network of support services including outreach and recruitment, education and career planning and retention strategies, tutoring, case management, advocacy, career coaching, and work study job development, placement and post-placement services. RTW participants also have access to all supportive services (such as transportation and childcare) and other resources available through KCHFS/DCBS and other agencies.
